Applications are invited from the citizens of India for appointment on one vacant post of

READER reserved for O.B.C. in the Department Adult & Continuing Education upto

07.10.2009. The Application forms completed in all respect should reach to Registrar, C.S.J.M.

University, Kanpur by registered post only. The prescribed application form, educational

qualifications, experience and other details can be obtained from the University Website

www.kanpuruniversity.org, Downloaded application form should be enclosed with a demand

draft of Rs. 200 in favour of Finance Officer, CSJM University, Kanpur payable at Kanpur.

PAY-BAND GRADE PAY

Scale : Reader : 15,600-39,000 7,000

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Reader :

(a) Good Academic record with at least high second class Master's Degree in Adult & Continuing Education / Social Sciences / Arts / Commerce / Non-Formal Education / Extension Education/ Population Education Demography from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.

OR Good academic record with at least second class Master's Degree and One-Year Post

M.A. Diploma in Adult & Continuing Education from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from Foreign University.

(b)
Ph.D. in any of the above subject or equivalent published work;
(c)
Evidence of being actively engaged in research or production of teaching material in any of the above areas;

Note :

  1. High Second Class would mean at least 55% marks in the subject or an equivalent Grade.

  2. The candidates having the degree of social sciences or an areas of allied to Adult and Continuing Education.
