It is proposed to fill up Three (03) vacancies of Staff Car Drivers (Ordinary Grade-III) (GeneralCentralServices,Gr-C, Non-Gazetted,Non-Ministerial)in Rs.19900-63200(Level-2in the Pay Matrix as per yth CPC) at the office of the Manager, Mail Motor Service, Hyderabad500 095 on Deputation I Absorption in the Department of Posts failing which Deputation / AbsorptionfromotherMinistries/Departmentsor Deputation/reemploymentofArmedForces personnel.

2. Eligibility conditions: Deputation I Absorption of the officials in the Department of Posts:

From amongst the regular Dispatch Riders (Group-C) and Group-C officials in [Pay Band-1 (~5200-20200with Grade pay of Rs.1800as per6th CPC) and Level-1in the Pay Matrixas per yth CPC]inthe Departmentof Postspossessingvalid DrivingLicensefor Lightand HeavyMotor Vehicles on the basis of Drivingtest to assessthe competencyto drive Light and HeavyMotor Vehicles.

Other Ministries of the Central Government and Armed Forces Personnel:

From officials holding the post of Dispatch Riders on regular basis or regular Group-C employeesinthe PB-1(~5200-20200withGradePayof Rs.1800asper6th CPC)andLevel-1 of PayMatrixas per yth epe withthe qualificationsprescribedhereunder:

(i)Possession ofavalid Driving LicenseforLightandHeavyMotorVehicles,

(ii) Knowledge of Motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to detect and rectify the minor defects in the vehicle).

(iii) Experience in Driving for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles for at least three years.

(iv)Passinthe10thStandardfromarecognized BoardorInstitute.

ForEx-servicemen: TheArmedForcespersonnelduetoretireorwhoaretobetransferredto reservewithin a period of one year and havingthe requisiteexperienceand qualificationsshall alsobeconsidered.Such personswould begivendeputationterms upto the dateonwhichthey areduefor releasefrom the armedforcesthereafterthey maybecontinuedonre-employment.

5. Period of deputation:

The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

6. Reservation for SC/ST:

No reservation exists for the posts to be filled up on deputation / absorption basis.
