Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for Engagement to the post of CATERING AGENTS at Delhi, Northern Region on a fixed term engagement, for a period of five years and to maintain a wait list for future requirement.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS ON 01.01.2019

1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

03 years Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management from recognized institutes. Knowledge of working on Excel/Word/MS Outlook etc. is desirable.

2. AGE LIMIT AS ON 01.01.2019 :

For General Candidates : Between 18 to 30 years

For SC/ST Candidates : Between 18 to 35 years

For OBC Candidates : Between 18 to 33 years.

3. EMOULUMENTS:

Rs. 25,200/- per month (CTC- Inclusive of Employers Contribution towards PF after one year of service)

4. ANNUAL INCREMENT:

Rs. 250/- per month in the Basic Pay after completion of 12 months of service (DA, HRA, Other Allowances & Employers Contribution towards PF will increase automatically)

5. TERM OF ENGAGEMENT:-

Catering Agents will be engaged on fixed term contract for a period of five years.

6. PLACE, TIME AND VENUE :

Eligible Candidates will be required to appear for Walk in Interview at the following Place, Time and Venue:-

7. HOW TO APPLY

Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria as mentioned above are required to download and fill up the application form available with this advertisement. Candidates are required to appear for WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 09th January, 2019 between 1000 hrs. to 1200 hrs. at the venue mentioned above with all original Certificates/Testimonials as mentioned below:

E. Two recent Passport size photograph

Candidates would also be required to furnish self-attested copies of all certificates/ testimonials as mentioned above along with the Application Form. Please note that No Original Certificate is to be submitted with the Application Form. Candidates are required to bring all Original Certificates and photo copy for verification along with them.

Candidates are also advised to bring an A/c Payee Demand Draft for an amount of Rs. 1000/- in favour of AIR INDIA LTD., payable at Delhi, as non-refundable application Fee (Not applicable for SC/ST candidates). It may be noted that in case a candidate fails to meet the physical/medical or any other parameter and is declared Unfit on this account, the demand draft will not be returned. 8. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

i) The short listed candidates will be considered for engagement on a fixed term Contract basis, subject to their Medical fitness, cost of which have to be borne by the candidate, prescribed for the position.

ii) The applicant / candidate must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria, as on 01st January, 2019 and that the particulars furnished by them in the Application Form are correct in all respect. At any stage of the Selection Process or thereafter, if the particulars provided by the candidates in the application or testimonials supplied are found incorrect / false, or not meeting with the eligibility requirements prescribed for the post, his/her candidature is liable to be rejected and, if appointed, services terminated, without giving any notice or reasons therefore.

iii) Candidates belonging to OBC category, the category certificate should be in the prescribed format including the Non-Creamy layer clause Issued by the Competent Authority for employment under Government of India and should be as per the Central list of OBCs published by the Govt. of India. Please also note that the validity of Non-Creamy Layer Certificate should not be older than 06 (six) months from the date of eligibility criteria i.e. 01.01.2019.

iv) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe categories will be entitled for reimbursement of second class return rail/bus fare from the nearest railway station i.e. from the address given in the application to the Selection Centre on production of railway receipt/ticket, as per rules.

v) Those Candidates who fulfil the advertised eligibility criteria will be required to appear for Walk-in-Selection either on the same/subsequent days.

vi) For further schedule of recruitment process which includes Pre-Engagement Medical Examination, Pre-Engagement Formalities and issuance of Engagement Letter etc. only selected candidates will be informed by e-mail and/or telephonically. Selected candidates may be required to join the Company at a short notice.

vii) Gratuity: Will be eligible for Gratuity as per Gratuity Act 1972.

viii) In addition, Statutory Leave like Maternity Leave etc. will be granted as admissible to other regular/contractual employees, as per rules.

ix) During the course or after completion of fixed term engagement, the candidate will not claim for permanent absorption in the Company.

x) Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature of the applicant.
