WALK-IN INTERVIEW Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN INTERVIEW on the following dates for various posts sanctioned under ICMR Multicentric National Task force project entitled Prevalence and Epidemiological study of hearing impairment under Department of ENT on the 8^th of July 2016. The essential qualifications, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under:

Sl. No.1 : Research Scientist

Project Name and Project ID	:	ICMR Multicentric National Task Force Project Prevalence and Epidemiological study of Hearing Impairment (Eastern Region)
Project Duration	:	Project duration is 3 years. Initial appointment will be on contract basis for 3 months and based on performance extended for further 3 months. Following this each contract period will be for 6 months and renewed till completion of project.
Brief Description about the Project	:	Epidemiologic study of prevalence of hearing impairment in a Eastern Indian region.
Resource Requirement	:	One
Education	:	MD (Community Health) / MS (Otolaryngology) / Masters in Public Health with MBBS and 2 years experience / Ph.D. (Community development).
Experience	:	Experience with conducting community based Research with at least 2 years experience will be preferred.
Key Skills	:	Ability to perform cluster random sampling of a given population by probability proportional to size.
Job Title	:	Research Scientist
Location	:	AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Proposed Salary	:	Rs.63,548/- including HRA and NPA (Rupees sixty three thousand five hundred and forty eight only)
Core Responsibilities	:	Perform basic ear examination and document. Take complete responsibility for co-ordinating all field activities and report to the principal investigator. Prepare reports for quarterly appraisal. Ensure quality of data collection and data entry.
Specific Activities	:	Liaison with District/sub-district Hospitals, PHCs, gram Panchayats, CHC and gather population data as per Census 2011. Prepare manuals for training all the field staff Visit project site, map the population and perform cluster random sampling.

Education	:	HSC (passed) with license to drive heavy vehicles (Should have license with Badge)
Essential Experience	:	Should have 5 years experience of driving an ambulance or heavy duty vehicle, and experience in handling large ambulance and medical vans.
Key Skills	:	Ability to drive and maintain a heavy duty vehicle.
Job Title	:	Driver
Location	:	AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Proposed Salary	:	Rs.15,123/- (Rupees fifteen thousand one hundred and twenty three only)
Core Responsibilities	:	Drive and maintain a heavy duty vehicle.
Specific Activities	:	Transport the sound treated minibus and project staff to the field on a daily basis on all the hospital working days.

Employment will automatically terminate upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar or Principal Investigator.
