Jr. Residents and Tutors/ Demonstrators
Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for non-academic Senior Resident, Junior Resident, and demonstrator/tutor positions in various pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical departments on contractual basis for a period of 11 (eleven) months.

A. For Senior Residents
- i. Essential Qualification: MBBS/ BDS degree with one year of internship from a recognised Institute and having MD/MS/MDS in the subject concerned.
- ii. Upper Age Limit (As on 24th June, 2013): 33 years. Relaxable for SC/ST candidates up to a maximum period of five years and in the case of OBC candidates up to a maximum period of three years.
- iii. In the case of Orthopaedic Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates age relaxation upto maximum period of 05 years for General Category, 08 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates.
- iv. The upper age limit for candidates with DM/M.Ch degree will be 35 years. The age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- v. Candidates who have already completed 3 years of senior residency (non-academic) are not eligible.
- vi. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH shall be applicable as per Govt. of India rules.
- vii. Approximate consolidated upper limit of monthly remuneration:
Rs. 55,000/-inclusive of NPA.
- viii. Mode of selection: MCQ based written examination will be followed by an personal interview. The distribution of marks is as follows: 80% for written MCQ examination and 20% for personal interview.
B. For Junior Residents & Demonstrators/Tutors
- i. Essential Qualification: MBBS/BDS from a recognised Institute with one year of internship and registration under any state or MCI/DCI. For non-medical candidates Masters Degree in appropriate subject.
- ii. Upper Age Limit (As on 24th June, 2013): 30 years. Relaxable for SC/ST candidate up to a maximum period of five years and in the case of OBC candidates up to a maximum period of three years.
- iii. In the case of Orthopaedic Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates age relaxation up to maximum period of 05 years for General Category, 08 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates.
- iv. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH shall be applicable as per Govt. of India rules.
- v. Approximate consolidated upper limit of monthly remuneration:
Rs. 50,000/-inclusive of NPA for medical graduates. NPA will not be paid to non-medical candidates.
- vi. Mode of selection: For medical candidates, selection will be made on the basis of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in MBBS and personal interview. For non-medical candidates, selection will be made on the basis of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in Masters Degree in appropriate subject and personal interview.
- vii. Priority will be given to those who are applying for the first time.
- viii. Those candidates who have already done 03 years of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) will NOT BE CONSIDERED.
The original certificates i.e. MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, Medical Registration Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate of the candidates who opt/select for the post of Junior Resident (Non-Academic) will be retained in the Academic Section of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. The same will not be returned to the candidate before completion of tenure of the post. If any candidate who joins the post and leave/resign/terminate before the completion of the tenure, he/she may do so by giving one months notice as per rules or by depositing pay and allowances with the Institute for the period of which notice falls short of one month or so. All original certificates will be returned after obtaining all no dues certificates from the concerned Department/Sections of the Institute.
C. APPLICATION FEE (for SR, JR, Demonstrator/Tutor): General / OBC Category: Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST Category: Rs.800/-). Payment to be made through demand draft/ pay order in the name of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar payable at Bhubaneswar.
D. Application Procedure: The applications for the above non-academic positions should be submitted on line for which the candidates should visit the procedure mentioned in Institutes website www.aiimsbhubaneswar.edu.in . However, the candidates should submit a print out of application submitted online duly signed in
each page along with the self-attested photo copies of all relevant certificates relating to age, qualifications and experiences with a self-attested coloured passport size photograph and the requisite application fee i.e. bank draft/pay order by speed post/courier so as to reach this Institute in the following address with the envelop SUPERSCRIBING: Application for the position of ........ on or before the last date of the submission of application i.e. 24.06.2013. Persons working in Govt./Govt. Organisation/Corporations/Autonomous Institutes etc should submit their print out online application through proper channel only. The Institute will not held responsible for the postal/courier delay. The Director AIIMS, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or to fill up less number of posts as advertised depending upon the requirement of the Institute.
