Job Profile

Job Objectives:

MSP (vendor) will be developing Software applications based on function points for UIDAI. In MSP RFP, UIDAI have rates for 20K Function points and MSP will give their Function point estimation before developing any Software.

The role-holder (MPSE ) will be vetting their function Point estimation and submit his / her recommendation to UIDAI for further necessary action

Key Responsibilities:

Direct accountability and management of MSP on Function Points

Responsible for arriving at optimal function point based on the requirements co-operate with all stake holders in this matter.

Arrive to consensus on Function point with the MSP. May also follow alternate estimation methodology for verification of function point.

Responsible for key Project management knowledge areas like Scope, Risk, Quality, Human resource, Time, Cost and Communications

Responsible for estimating the sizing through FP Counting & Estimations according to IFPUG and Global standards.

involved in project planning for sizing various components; defining and scheduling various sizing task, coordinating & scheduling interviews sessions with stakeholders; Assist in project planning, WBS and monitoring and controlling of the projects.

Designs and maintain function point documentation.

Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

Qualification and Experience Basic Qualifications:

5-7 years experience with at least two years previous Function Point management experience

Engineering /MCA/Management Graduate from a reputed institute Professional Skill Requirements:

IFPUG certified Function Point Specialist (CFPS) will be preferred System Analysis skills

Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Excellent business acumen and industry acumen

Ability to work with multiple business functions/capabilities
