WALK IN-WRITTEN TEST / PERSONAL DISCUSSION

Desert Medicine Research Centre is a one of the 26 Institutes/Centres of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), an autonomous body under Department of Health, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. DMRC was established in 1984 with the mandate to

Undertake and promote research on health problems specific to desert areas.

Study the changing patterns of health problems especially in view of various developmental activities taking place in the region.

Strengthen the scientific and technical expertise of state as well as local health agencies.

Name of the Project: Systematic Pulmonary TB case finding among severely malnourished children admitted to nutritional rehabilitation centres.

Duration up to : 01 Year.

1) Post: Scientist B (Medical) (SC-01)

Essential Qualifications: MBBS Degree with one years Research/Teaching experience or MD in Microbiology/Pathology/PSM from a recognized University. Salary: 61000/- per month (Consolidated)

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 35 years.

Nature of Job: To assist in execution of research studies which will include field survey work also and any other work assigned.

2) Post: Technician-III (UR-01)

Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science Subject and 2 years field/laboratory experience in Govt.

recognized organization.

Salary: 18000/- per month (Consolidated)

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 30 years.

Nature of Job: To assist in execution of research studies which will include field survey work also and any other work assigned.

* B.Sc. Degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC candidates will be given against reserve posts in their respective category as per Govt. Rules in force. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons (experience certificated required for screening).

Candidates possessing the above qualifications may come for Walk-in-Interview at DMRC Campus, Jodhpur. If the number of eligible candidates are more than 30 a Walk in Personal Discussion and Written Test will be conducted. Therefore, candidates should come prepared for written test also which will be multiple choice question based (MCQ).

Those appearing for walk-in written test should bring with them (1) All Certificate/Testimonial in Original, (2)

One attested copy each of the Certificates/Testimonial and should report at 01:30 PM at DMRC, Jodhpur. (3)

The competent authority may increase or decrease the number of posts.

General conditions: The Appointment will be on contract basis and no other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidate will not have any right to claim for any regular employment at DMRC/ICMR etc.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Written Test/Interview.
