IIITM-K is a premier institution of excellence in Science, Technology and Management established by the Govt. of Kerala. Centre for continuing studies (CCS) has been established at IIITM-K with an objective to provide specialized training programs to practicing professionals, teachers and students to widen their knowledge, skills and to enhance career development and employability.

IIITM-K is in the process of empanelling experienced trainers/professionals in technical, managerial and soft skills:

1. Areas related to Information Technology/Computer Science like Mobile Computing, Web Technologies, Software Engineering, Software Quality Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Security, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Open Source Software, Hardware, etc.

2. Areas related to Management Development like Entrepreneurship Development, Innovation, Strategy and Leadership, Project Management, Human Resources, Operations, Change Management, Financial Management, Statistics, etc.

3. Softskills- Communications skills, personality development, team building, Emotional Intelligence, Negotiation skills, personal effectiveness, etc.

The empanelment will be made after an evaluation of the applications received from the applicants on the basis of internal assessment by IIITM-K. The services of the empanelled trainers will be utilized by IIITM-K for providing training as and when required for which honorarium will be paid on the rates prescribed by IIITM-K from time to time. This is not a notice for employment in any manner either on regular or contract basis nor does this scheme promise any regular or contract employment in IIITM-K at any time in future. Those empanelled shall have no claim whatsoever on any regular or contractual or casual job opportunity that may arise in IIITM-K ever in future.
