Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering of the Institute.

1.	Name of the Temporary Post	Junior
2.	Name of the Research Project	Evaluating anti-amyloidogenic propensity of surface functionalised carbon dots.
3.	Name of the Sponsoring Agency	SERB
4.	Tenure of the Project	03 years
5.	Tenure of the Assignment	03 years (based on the performance) OR completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
6.	Job Description	To carry out research work in line of the above project with a scope of Ph.D registration.
7.	Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship	Rs. 25,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year and Rs 28,000/- per month for 3rd year
8.	Essential Qualifications and experience	M.Tech./M.E. in Biotechnology/ Biomedical/ Nanotechnology/ Biochemical/ Chemical/ Food Engg. or allied subjects with minimum 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (OR) B.Tech/B.E/M.Sc in Biomedical/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Biochemical/ Chemical/ Food Engg, Life Science or related subjects with CGPA minimum 8.0/10 or marks minimum 75% and JRF/95 percentile or higher in GATE score.
9.	Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences	Prior research experience in nanoparticle synthesis and characterization /protein biochemistry and biophysics is preferred, but not mandatory.
10.	Accommodation	Bachelor accommodation in the hostel will be provided and Campus accommodation may be provided to married students subject to availability. (campus stay is compulsory)
