Applications are invited forwalk-in interviewfor the post ofJunior Research Fellow (JRF)for a research project titled National Carbonaceous Aerosols Programme (NCAP): Working Group III - Emissions, sources apportionment and climate effects'' funded by Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India. The project is organized around a three-tier structure involving 17 institutions across India with BIT Mesra as a field institute.

Nature and Duration:The post is purelytemporaryin nature, initially for 01 year and extendable upon satisfactory performance till the duration of project.
Consolidated Salary:Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA (as per institute rules)
Minimum qualifications:
Post-graduate degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Civil / Environmental/Chemical Engineering, or (M.Sc. with NET qualification) in Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry or related disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable:
- GATE/NET
- The candidate should be prepared to participate in field work.
- Position require good communication skills in English.
