Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Setting up of equipment for jobs.

Looking after timely maintenance & upkeep of equipment.

Assisting in procurement of items for department usage.

Preparing departmental reports, as & when required.

Extending logistic support for departmental activities.

Preparing requisitions and notes for approval.

Forwarding of bills & follow up.

Document handling: Maintaining asset records & documents for the department equipment.

Qualification and Personal Profile

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years experience or Class 10 with ITI with minimum 4 years experience.

Desirable: Sound knowledge of CNC programming and operating experience of CNC machines

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of working in a laboratory setting.

Other Skill and Ability Requirements

Should have excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in handling workshop equipment.

Should be well-versed with computers especially MS-Office.

Should have good communication skills.

Should have the ability to work independently and as one of a team.

Should exhibit a high degree of ownership, commitment and flexibility, should be able to put in extra hours as per work demands.

Compensation

Level: 4; Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 25,500; Starting CTC (p.a.): Rs. 3.73 l.p.a. (inclusive of current DA at Central Government rate & CPF @ 12% on Basic Pay & Dearness Allowance). For exceptional candidates, appropriate increments over the starting basic may be offered.

Other benefits such as Reimbursement @ 90% of Medical Expenses / ESIC (as applicable), LTC, Reimbursement of Childrens School Fees up to class XII, Gratuity, Pension under EPS 1995 (as applicable), Leave, will be admissible as per institute norms.
