DELHI STATE CANCER INSTITUTE (DSCI) is a chain of autonomous, dedicated cancer care institutions under the Government of NCT of Delhi established under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. These institutions are coming up fast to provide comprehensive and integrated facilities for treatment of cancer with latest technology and equipments with motto of providing care as per convenience of the patients. For this purpose, the Institutes have established ultra-modern infrastructure and installed latest, state-of-the-art equipments in imaging, laboratory, clinical oncology, surgical oncology including robotic surgery, ICU sections, Nuclear Imaging facilities including PET-CT and SPECT with 100-bedded indoor facilities at present. Expansion of OPD and Indoor facilities, Bone Marrow Transplant and Cancer Research Setups are in the pipeline. DSCI currently has two setups in East & West Delhi and is likely to add more such facilities in other areas of Delhi in due course. The staff recruited by the Institute is liable to be posted at any of the set ups of DSCI. To achieve the above aims and to expand its services further for the patients, the Institute is looking for some young as well as experienced, dynamic and dedicated professionals with upright credentials in different fields, who have the capability to contribute in their respective fields as a challenge and who can work as a cohesive team towards growth of the Institute. The Institute shall provide a pragmatic, congenial and unrestricted environment with unlimited opportunity for professional growth to those who honestly and actively contribute towards patients care and towards overall growth of the Institute as envisaged in its Aims and Objective. Some of the short-listed candidates may be kept in a panel for appointment against vacancies in near future. Applicants from DSCI shall be entitled for age relaxation upto 5 yrs.

Candidates belonging to Technical fields must be registered with their concerned Statutory/Regulatory Bodies like Medical Council, Dental Council, Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council, Physiotherapy Council etc, as the case may be, for the qualifications claimed by them. If selected, they shall have to get themselves registered with the respective Statutory Bodies of Delhi State also before joining at DSCI.

Candidates employed in Govt/Semi Govt/PSU/Autonomous Organisations or those desiring to join DSCI on deputation should send their application through proper channel indicating whether they would like to be considered for deputation or for direct recruitment at this Institute. They may submit an advance copy of their applications, but concurrence by the present employer to relieve within one month, if selected, must be produced at the time of Interview.

Higher start in salary in the given pay scale or appointment to a higher level post could be considered for outstanding candidates having longer &/or special experience and found exceptionally well-qualified and eligible for the higher pay/post by the Selection Committee of the Institute.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Interested candidates may download the Application Form from the DSCI website i.e. www.dsci.nic.in. from 28th MARCH 2017. Completed applications alongwith all the
documents and a Fee of `1,100/-. SC/ST Candidates and candidates applying for selection on deputation category are exempted from Processing Fee. US$100.- for NRI Candidates must be submitted online within the given time frame followed by submission of a print out of the same by post within the given deadlines, as above. Candidate applying for more than one post MUST submit separate applications for each post complete in all respects including the fee.METHOD OF SELECTION:

The Institute reserves the right to shortlist the eligible candidates for various categories on the basis of the qualification/experience documents submitted by them.
-
The candidates shortlisted at the first level MAY have to undergo a written test for further short listing.
-
Candidates for faculty and senior administrative posts may be asked to make power point presentation about their profile and about their vision in their respective fields.
-
Final selection may be based upon the personal interview of the candidates before a duly constituted Selection Committee of the Institute.
-
Candidates for ministerial posts shall have to appear in Typing Test and they must attain a speed of >40 wpm with >90% accuracy.

Candidates not willing to contribute to the growth of the Institute, those not having leadership qualities or those not willing to accept the challenge NEED NOT APPLY.

The decision of the Institute regarding selection of the candidates shall be final and binding.
