The Head, Division of Plant Physiology, ICAR-IARI New Delhi intend to recruit the outstanding personnel for following posts in the DBT funded Indo-UK centre for Improvement of nitrogen efficiency in wheat (INEW) and NASF-ICAR funded Understanding the mechanisms of tolerance to low light intensity in rice projects purely on contractual basis. The details of the posts are as follows:

Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)	Essential: 1) First class Post-graduate degree in Agriculture (Crop Physiology/Genetics /Agronomy), Biotechnology/ Botany/ Life Sciences (preferably plant science) from a recognized University with NET/MHRD-GATE qualification OR Post Graduate degree in relevant Professional courses. Those with 3 years bachelors degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/SET or equivalent qualification conducted by UGC-MHRD. 2) Two years research experience post Masters degree Desirable: Experience in working with field crops, handling instrument like IRGA, root imaging, tissue nutrient analysis. Data analysis and interpretation, report writing.

Terms and condition:

1. i. Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
   
   
2. ii. The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis till the termination of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
   
   
3. iii. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
   
   
4. iv. The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted.
   
   
5. v. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
   
   
6. vi. Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed
   
   
7. vii. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
