Walk-in-Interview for the position of one Research Associate (RA) and One Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in below mentioned project/scheme will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against position on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview at ICAR-NDRI, Southern Regional Station, Adugodi, Hosur Road, Bengaluru -560 030.

OR Master Degree in any one of the following discipline/subject, Animal Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Molecular biology/Bioinformatics with 4 years/5years of Bachelors Degree having 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate-ship /Training/other engagements in the relevant area. Desirable Qualification : Research Experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, nucleic acids isolation and purifications and qPCR. The experience should be supported with published research papers in International reputed Journals.

Project Titled Targeted immobilization of Ybearing spermatozoa and modulation of oviduct milieu for skewing sex ratio towards female offspring in dairy cattle under Dr. A Kumaresan, Principal Scientist & PI, LRC, ICAR-NDRI, SRS, Adugodi, Bengaluru	SRF 01(One) Rs.25,000/+HRA per month for first two years and Rs.28,000/-+ HRA per month for third year. HRA will be provided if Govt. accommodati on is not provided (as per ICAR guidelines)	Up to July 2021	Seminar Hall ,NDRI, SRS, Adugodi, Bengaluru560030. on 19-09-2018 at 11.30 a.m. onwards	Mater Degree in any one of the following discipline/subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree. Candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelors Degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualifications. Preferred subjects: Animal Reproduction, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Animal Biotechnology, Molecular biology. Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in the field of cell culture, western blotting, flow cytometry, nucleic acids isolation and purifications and qPCR.

Age Limit: 1) 40 Years for Men and 45 years for Women in case of RA on the date of interview. 2) 35 years for Men and 40 Years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview. (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC & Women candidates as per GOI/ICAR rules)

The above position is purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is coterminus with the Project/Scheme. Eligible and interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview on the date as indicated against project/scheme along with original certificates, experience certificate in the relevant area and Research Publication and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each certificates along with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for completing necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.

Note: (1) Those candidates who are already working in any project/scheme/organization should bring No Objection Certificate from his present employer.

The experience in the relevant area will be counted after acquiring the basic minimum Qualifications.

As per ICAR OM No.Agril.Edn.6/27/2014-HRD dated: 9^th October 2016, the Ph.D. Degree holders are eligible for both RAs/SRFs.
