Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad [MNNITAllahabad], an institution of national importance declared by the Act of Parliament and a premier technical Institution of the Country, offers several undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in technology, science, management and allied areas, and also provides excellent ambience for academic research and cocurricular activities.
Applications are invited from the eligible Professors of the Institute for upgradation of AGP of Professors to HAG Scale [HAG Pay scale: `6700079000 (revised to level 15 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) in various departments of the Institute. Interested persons may apply in the prescribed application form available on the Institute website
http://www.mnnit.ac.in.
The duly completed application form, along with duly selfattested supporting documents, such as the selfattested copies of relevant testimonials, certificates, enclosures, must be sent to the Registrar, Motilal NehruNational Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj211 004, Uttar Pradesh, India failing which their candidature will not be considered.

Credit Point System
- The Institute reserves the right to modify/ defer or cancel full / part of the advertisement / recruitment at any stage of processing without assigning any reasons.
- All recruitment and payfixation shall be done by the Board of Governors (BoG) of the Institute only on the recommendations of duly constituted Selection Committees. The decision of the Appointing Authority shall be final. There shall be no scope of fixing of altering pay (pay in payband or grade pay) outside the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee shall be the only entity empowered to consider the past services and qualifications of a candidate.
- The minimum qualification with regard to academic qualification and experience (on credit basis) for all positions advertised herewith shall be governed by the Schedule E of NITs Statutes (issued vide Gazette of India No. 651, dated July, 24 2017), the relevant portion of the same is also provided at the end of this document for ease of the applicants as Enclosure 'A'.
- Last date of receivinghardcopy is February 18, 2019 (5.30 P.M.). The Institute shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any sort of delay.
- The minimum qualification, experience and credit points are the minimum criteria only for deciding the eligibility. This shall not ensure shortlistings / Selections.

- The Institute shall retain the applicant data for nonshortlisted candidates only for three months after the completion of recruitment process.
- (e)
- Applications which are not in prescribed form / without relevant supporting enclosures shall be summarily rejected. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
- (f)
- Candidates shall indicate two references of eminent persons in the field/ profession who may be contacted by the Institute for their recommendations.
- (g)
- The Institute has the right to set higher norms than minimum and areas of specialization while short listing, taking into account the specific requirements of the individual departments. The short listing norms may not be uniform across the departments/ posts of the Institute and shall be binding on all the applicants. The decision of the Institute related to all matters pertaining to the recruitment shall be final and binding on the applicants.
- (h)
- The date for determining eligibility of candidates in every respect i.e. qualifications, experience and preferred age limit etc. shall be considered as 30.06.2018.
- (i)
- More than six months of experience in relevant regular position in any organization will only be considered in total experience.
- (j)
- Legal disputes, if any, with MNNITAllahabad, Prayagraj will be restricted within the jurisdiction of Prayagraj, U.P., India only.

- DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES: Selfattested copies of the following documents/certificates are required to be attached with the Application Form, failing which the application would be summarily rejected.
- (a)
- Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central/State Board indicating date of Birth will be considered in support of their claim of age. Where date of birth is not available in certificate/mark sheets, issued by concerned Educational Boards, School leaving certificate indicating date of Birth will be considered.
- (b)
- Degree/Diploma certificate along with mark sheets pertaining to all the academic years as proof of educational qualification claimed. In the absence of a particular degree certificate for genuine reasons, mark sheets of the degree program will be accepted.
- (c)
- Credit Point Calculation Sheet [Enclosure C, Part I & Part II] is to be filled by the applicant for the post applied and to be submitted along with Application Form.
