Saksham Prerak, in collaboration with the National AIDS Control Prog amme (NACP) will build capacities of 9000 HIVcounselors+30000 Aux ary Nurse & Midwife across India. Tata Institute of Social Sciences will establis 10 Regional Training Units to conduct these training programmes.

Terms of Reference for the position of Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation & Research, Saksham Prerak,

• Designingframework ofprogramme Monitoringand Evaluation (M&E) system.
  
  
• Overseedevelopment andmaintenanceoftheVirtualPlatform.
  
  
• Ensure M&Esystem meets data requirements ofallthe RegionalTrainingunits.
  
  
• Assess need for capacity building activities for programme staff pertaining to M&Eand plancapacitybuildingactivities.
  
  
• Coordinateandworktogether withProgrammeManagersofdifferentstatesfor data collation,periodic assessments and data analysisandreporting.
  
  
• Oversee Base line,Mid Termand End line assessment ofprogramme.
  
  
• AssistSr.Programme Manager,Sakshamfor submittingperiodicreportstoSACS, NACO &PLANIndia.
  
  
• Dataanalysisandreportingfor strategydevelopment.
  
  
• Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor(s)
  
  

Essential Qualifications: Master of Arts/ M.Sc. (Bio-Statistics)/ Master in Public Health/ Master in Population Studies/ Master in Health inistration. Desirable qualification: PhDin anyofthe above subjects.

Experience: 4-7yearsofresearchexperience in fieldofHIV/TBCounsellingservices/ and/or Monitoring&Evaluation.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent skills in English communication (verbal and written).
  
  
• Highproficiencyin MSExcel.
  
  
• KnowledgeandexperienceofusingofSPSSor State.
  
  
• Very good knowledge of other Microsoft Office application (MS Word & MS Power Point).
  
  
• Experience in data analysis and report writing.
  
  
• KnowledgeofMSAccessor other similar programmeswillbeanadvantage.
