Recruitment Notice under BFUHS

Applications are invited up to 30.11.2018 through university website from eligible candidates for recruitment to one post of Social Worker in Deptt of Radiation Oncology, Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot under ICMR on purely temporary/contract basis on the prescribed application form available on university website for the project entitled Hospital based Cancer Registries Data Management Software being done in collaboration with National Centre for Disease Informatics And Research (ICMR) in the Department of Radiation Oncology of this institution.

The qualification for Social Worker is as under:

MA Sociology or MSc Social Anthropology or Master of Social Work or Equivalent degree from recognized University/Board. Desirable: Work experience of two years in the field of family counseling, drug de-addiction, family welfare, community health work, medical and psychiatric setting, therapies practices and rehabilitation services. General terms and Conditions:

i) The tenure of post is initially for a period of One year.

ii) Age should be between 18-37 years.

iii) The application received without legible copies of documents or apparently containing incomplete information and those received after due date will be summarily rejected.

iv) Applicant must possess the requisite qualification by the last date of receipt of application.

v) Candidate must possess the knowledge of Punjabi language of Matriculation standard.
