KRIBHCO INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF MANAGER (FIRE & SAFETY) FOR ITS PLANT SITE, SURAT

The detailed job specifications for the said position are as follows :

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manager (Fire & Safety) shall be responsible for Leading, organizing, coordinating and monitoring of all fire-management related activities in the plant or nearby area in accordance with the company policies.

Preparation and compliance of Fire Safety procedures, Permit to work system, Fire Safety Inspections, Fire-Safety Audit, Accident investigations.

Fire Fighting training and Emergency planning/ preparedness & organizing mock drills.

Management of Maintenance , procurement and record keeping of Fire protection systems, Fire vehicles, personal protective equipment, portable gas detection instruments and any other responsibility assigned by management. The candidate should be physically fit, dynamic and task oriented.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Position	Manager (Fire & Safety)
Grade	F1
Pay Scale	Rs.32,900 3% - 58,000/- per month(Unrevised)
Qualification	Full Time B.E.(Fire) from a recognized university/college with First Class
Age Limit	Not more than 40 years as on 31st March 2017
Work Experience	Minimum of 10 years (post-qualification) as on 31st March 2017 in Fire / fire & safety department of process plant Chemical Fertilizer, Petrochemical or Oil Refinery in supervisory level. Knowledge on Engineering, Management and legal aspects related to fire-safety is necessary. (Additional Qualifications / experience / Knowledge on industrial safety aspects and ISO 9002, ISO 14001 and OHSAS shall be an advantage) in a large scale continuously operating process industry like fertilizers, petrochemicals , refinery ,steel and metals etc.

Emoluments:

Besides basic pay, the candidate selected for the position of Manager (Fire & Safety) will be paid Industrial Dearness Allowance and other perks and allowances as per the rules of the Society. They will also be entitled to other perquisites and benefits like PF and Gratuity, leave Encashment, Accommodation in township, free medical facility for self and dependents as per rules.
