Applications are invited for one post of Semi-skilled worker in ICAR-NASF sponsored research proposal entitled Targeted editing of potato genome to develop variety specific True Potato Seed (TPS) to be executed in the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh with following terms and conditions:

Position: Semi-skilled worker (lab attendant) 1 (One)

Duration: Maximum 3 years, renewable annually depending upon performance and needs of the project

Emoluments: Rs 16,000 p.m. fixed

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science.

Desirable: Minimum one year experience of working in research lab/institute/company.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed by mail and notice board of the departmental website. Report for the interview on 21.12.2018 at 10.30 AM in the Office of the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh along with the original certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
