KRIBHCO INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER FOR ITS PLANT SITE, SURAT

The detailed job specifications for the said position are as follows :

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Head of Security Officer is the leader of the corporate/physical security function including responsibility for overall corporate security strategy and security architecture development.

2. He will be responsible on matters pertaining to Security and Civil Defence in the security aspects of Plant and Township.

3. He will be implementing Security Policies, keeping in view the instructions/directives issued by the competent authority in connection with security, civil defense and control/ deployment of security personnel.

4. He shall interact with other Plant Officers on routine administrative matters for the success of the security functioning.

5. He will be responsible for supervision of Physical Security of Plant including prevention of sabotage, loss of property (including that caused by theft) and leakage of classified information to unauthorized persons or sources.

6. He shall organize training of all security personnel and to ensure that the Security orders are complied with by all employees and they are all security conscious.

7. He shall ensure a cost effective security commensurate with the achievements of the managements objectives and organizational success.

8. He shall organize security / intelligence system or cell for timely collection, collation and dissemination of security intelligence in the Plant and Township with particular reference to the crimes in the Plant and Township

9. Routine and purposeful liaison for seeking necessary assistance with Local Police Officers and Civil Government authorities, and Civil Defence Organization including any other civil organizations for effective security in the Plant.

10. Preparation of Monthly Security Summary / Report and Develop risk management assessments. He shall be conversant with IMS system implementation in Security Department.

11. He shall be conversant with latest security gadgets and their use and installations in Factory premises and Township

12. He shall have overall administration command and control of Security Officers and Staff working under him.

Emoluments:

Besides basic pay, the candidate selected for the position of Chief Security Officer will be paid Industrial Dearness Allowance and other perks and allowances as per the rules of the Society. They will also be entitled to other perquisites and benefits like PF and Gratuity, leave Encashment, Accommodation in township, free medical facility for self and dependents as per rules.
