Applications are invited for purely temporary project based positions under UNDP (MAP) project entitled "Detailed Assessment of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant (MAP) species including their collection, usage, demand, markets, price trends and life cycle, focusing on landscapes in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand" initially for the period of 11 months. The desirous candidates with adequate qualification may appear for walk-in-interview on February 8, 2019 (02:00 PM) at Katarmal (Almora) Campus of the Institute. i) First class Master degree and Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences (Botany, Forestry, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences) with specialization in medicinal plants research. Those who have submitted Ph.D. may also be considered

Experience of data analysis and report writing and knowledge of using computer softwares.

ii) First class Master degree in Management, agri-business, agri-economics, or other relevant streams

Experience of working in hilly areas preferably in MAP sector

Rs 18000/= P.M.

First class Master degree in Life Sciences (Botany, Forestry, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences) with 2 years experience in medicinal plants research
