Name of the Post:-

Project Director:-01 post in Pay Band IV of Rs. 37,400 -67,000/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/-on deputation basis. The Project Director will be in charge of the development of National Waterway 4 and 5.

Eligibility conditions:-

Officers under the Central/State Govt./port Organization/Semi-Govt. body/Public Sector Undertakings: a) Holding analogous post;

OR

With 5 years service in the post in the PB-III Rs.15,600-39,100/-+

Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-or equivalent, and

b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

Essential: (i) Degree in Civil / Marine / Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architect from a recognized University or equivalent .

(ii) 15 years experience in a supervisory capacity out of which at least 5 years in the next below level in, investigations, planning, design and constructions of Marine structure/river Engineering works including repairs and maintenance. OR various branches of Marine / Mechanical Engineering works including experience in repair and maintenance of harbor crafts OR Design, Planning and constructions of vessels in shipyards of Marine Organisation concerning design of Inland vessels including experience in design of navigational aids etc.

Desirable :-

Experience in works connected with Inland Waterways in dredging, river conservancy works, river training marking of fairways, rules and regulations of safety of Shipping and Navigation.

Age Limit:-Not exceeding 56 years on the closing date of application.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. The Authority is following the Central Govt. Rules & orders in service matters. Leased accommodation and Medical reimbursement are provided as per rules of the Authority.
   
   
2. The post has all India transfer liability; However the post is operated at the Head Quarter of the Authority in Noida.
   
   
3. Mere possession of essential qualifications will not entitle a candidate to be selected for the post. The decision of the Authority as to the eligibility of a candidate shall be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
   
   
4. Outstation candidates, if called for the interview shall be paid 2^nd AC Rail Fare as per their entitlement to and fro by the shortest route subject to production of proof of journey.
