Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of 01(one) Full-Time Contractual Assistant
ProfessorinV.I. fortheDeptt. ofDisabilityStudiespurelyontemporary basis. PrescribedApplicationForms areto
be downloaded from our website www.rbu.ac.in between 11/01/2019 and 30/01/2019 and the filled-in Form is to
be submitted to the Establishment Section of the abovementioned address by post or in person on all working days
(except Saturdays, Sundays and other University holidays) along with a payment of Rs. 500/-(Rs. 250/-in case of
SC/ST) through Demand Draft drawn in favour of RABINDRA BHARATI UNIVERSITY payable at
KOLKATA latest by 31/01/2019. The applicants are requested to submit the duly filled-in application form along
with requisite testimonials, Demand Draft, certificates and 6(six) copies of application form [i.e. Application form
+ six photo copies of application form and one copy each of all mark sheets, certificates, age proof and other
testimonials(1set)].
Qualificationsforthesaidpostsaregivenbelow:-
A) EssentialQualification:
- MastersDegreeinanydisciplinewithnotlessthan50%ofmarks(aspertheRCInormsandUGC Regulations,Gazettedt. September 18,2010section1.1.1)
- M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area (VI)with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade ofB+ in10-pointscale ofUGC.
- Or An equivalentdegree from aforeign universityrecognizedbyRCI.
- ValidRegistrationwithRCI,u/s19ofRCIAct,1992isessential.
B) Desirable Qualification:
- M.Phil/Ph.DinSpecialEducationorEducationwithresearchemphasisonSpecialEducation.
- Experienceforaperiodofatleast2yearsasteacherorresearcherintheareaofspecificdisability.
Specialisation: InV.I. asperRCInorms. Pay : Rs. 40,000/-(consolidated) for thepost.
Age : Notmore than 55yearsason 01/01/2019.However, relaxationinupper age limitmaybe consideredincase of exceptionallyqualifiedcandidates.
Fulfilment of minimum qualifications does not guarantee a call for interview. The University reserves the right to decide the number of candidates to be called for interview for a particular post. Incomplete applications are liable to be cancelled. Application received after the last date due to any reasons includingpostal delay shallnot be entertained.
Candidates already in employment should apply through proper channel. Candidates who have already applied for the said post in response to our earlier Notification No. Estt./6178/2018 dated 09/03/2018 need not apply again.
