Name of the Project: 'Democratization of Indian Christianity: Dalit Christian Liberation Movement in Contemporary India

Minimum Qualification & Experience: M.A/M.Phil in Social Sciences and Humanities (suitable candidates from other allied disciplines can also apply)

Preferable Qualifications: M.Phil/Masters degree in Social Sciences and Humanities (Sociology/Anthropology/Religious Studies/ Political Science/History) from a reputed University or Institute. Knowledge of ethnographic methods and quantitative techniques is preferred. Fluency in either Tamil or Marathi language would be an added advantage. Successful applicant is also responsible for carrying out fieldwork in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu under the supervision of PI.

Tenure: Initially appointment is for One Year, extendable for six months depending upon performance.

Upper Age Limit: 35 Years

Salary: Rs. 16,000/-per month
