Advertisement for the Post of Project Engineerfor the Design Innovation

Applications are invited from dynamic eligible candidates for the position of Project Engineerfor the Design Innovation Centre, NIT Meghalaya funded by DIC hub institute, IIT Guwahati.

Deputy Project Coordinator: Dr. Koushik Das, Assistant Professor, ME

No. of position available: One (01)

Eligibility: B. Tech./ B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with good academic record with 1 (one) year experience.

Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on June 30, 2017 (relaxation as per the norms/orders ofGovernment of India).

Consolidated monthly compensation: Rs. 15,000 (fifteenthousand only) permonth + 20% HRA.

Duration: Initial appointment is for 6(six) months, which may be extendable up to 2 years.

General terms and conditions:

1. The position is temporary and renewable subject to availability of fund and satisfactory performance, for a maximum of 02 (two) years.

2. Filled in application form (soft copy in pdf format) must be sent to dksarma@nitm.ac.in by email no later than July 25, 2017. Subject of the email should contain APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PROJECT ENGINEER

3. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark-sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview. A set of photocopy of all the testimonials must be submitted at the time of interview

4. Candidate must bring with him/her the signed hard copy of the duly filled application form.

5. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview.

Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communication in this regard will be entertained.

6. The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.

7. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
