Walk-in Interview will be conducted for following assignment in a time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences of the Institute on 06th February 2019 and Time 10:30 A.M. for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project.

1.	Name of the Temporary Post	Junior Research Fellow 01
2.	Name of the Research Project	Crustal deformation study across Narmada-Son failed rift zone, Central India
3.	Name of the Sponsoring Agency	Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India.
4	Tenure of the Project	05 years (November 2018 to November 2023)
5	Tenure of the Assignment	05 years
6	Job Description	Research work related to project. Candidate may register for Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela
7.	Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship	Rs. 25000/- per month for 1st to 5th year
8.	Essential Qualifications and experience	First division throughout carrier with 65% marks or above in M.Sc. or M.Sc. Tech. or M.Tech. (Applied Geology/Earth System Science/Geophysics/Physics/Equivalent). M.Sc. or M.Sc. Tech. candidates should be NET or GATE qualified.
9.	Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences	Working experience in MatLab/Python and basic understanding of Linux OS.
10.	Accommodation	Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.
