Walk-in interview for Research Assistant

Applications are invited for 2/3 Research Assistant (R.Astn) for the Sponsored Research Project Programme of the ICSSR entitled The Structures and Agencies in the life of certain Marginalised Tribes of West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha: An Interdisciplinary and Participatory Action Research with Focus on Social Economic and Development Issues under the principal investigator from Anthropology department and joint investigators from Psychology, Business Management and Geography, University of Calcutta. Candidates are requested to appear in a walk-in interview (two sets of applications furnishing Bio-Data on plain paper and all testimonials in original and attested copies) on 19th July, 2017 at 1.00 pm in the Department of Anthropology, Ballygunge Science College; 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-700019.

Master / P.G. degree with at least 55% marks in any social science disciplines, including Anthropology, Psychology, Geography and Business Management along with intensive fieldwork exposure during or after degree periods of study can apply. In addition, willingness and skills to reach and work effectively with the tribal people, ability of recording, transcribing and report writing would be given preference.

The honorarium: R.Astn. Rs. 13000/- (Non-NET/SET/Non-M. Phil) candidates and Rs. 15000/- (NET-Lectureship eligibility or equivalents)
