Advertisement for Empanelment of Visiting Authorized Medical Officer

The Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. IPR is located in Bhat Village and also has extensions of its Laboratories at GIDC, Sector 25, Gandhinagar. IPR desires to empanel Visiting Authorised Medical Officer on a consolidated honorarium @ 375/-per hour, plus conveyance allowance of 8000/-per month. (Considering visit to IPR & Labs at GIDC, Gandhinagar)

Timings : Minimum 4 (fours) hours daily from Monday to Friday (working days) including two hours at Gandhinagar, GIDC once a week Minimum 2 (two) hours on Saturdays.

Qualification : MBBS from recognized University with registration with Medical

Council. Age : Not above 55 years. Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience as general practitioner.

Knowledge of CGHS/CHSS/Medical Attendance Rules of Central Government would be an advantage.

Responsibilities : Besides medical consultation to the employees of the Institute, the Medical Officer will be involved in scrutiny and clearance of bills received from various employees, doctors, hospital etc., as per the Institutes Schedule of Rates and rules and also assist the Administration of the Institute in respect of medical related matters.

Selection : The shortlisted doctors shall be called for a personal interview.

The engagement of Medical Officer will be purely on adhoc basis, initially for a period of one/two years and might be extendable as per the need and exigencies and therefore will not confer any rights or claim whatsoever for regular appointment and it is purely temporary position.
