Walk-in-interview

Walk-in-interview as per the date & time given below will be conducted at this Institute for temporary short term engagement of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) 1no. under the project entitled : "Increasing Productivity of Rice Based Cropping Systems and Farmers Income in Odisha under IRRI-ICAR LOA STRASA" as per the details given below with the following qualifications on consolidated remuneration basis.

Name of the project Increasing Productivity of Rice Based Cropping Systems and Farmers Income in Odisha
Essential Qualification Master's degree in Agriculture with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable Qualification Working experience in agricultural research projects Working knowledge of computers
Upper Age Limit 35 years for Men and 40 years for women as on 01.07.2017 (relaxation in age as per Government of India norms).
Remuneration Rs.25,000/ Per month for 1st and 2nd year plus HRA as per norms. Rs.28,000/ Per month for 3rd year plus HRA as per norms.

Interested and eligible candidates may attend the interview and should furnish two copies of complete bio-data along with duly attested two passport size photograph and supporting certificates/ testimonials (from matriculation onwards), experience certificates. They should also bring original certificates for verification.

Please Note:

  1. The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The services of appointed candidates will stand terminated automatically after expiry of project or completion of the period indicated in selection offer, whichever is earlier and the candidate will not have any right for absorption in ICAR-CIWA/ ICAR.
  2. The selected candidate shall be required to work in rural areas and travel extensively within and outside the State of Odisha.
  3. The Director, ICAR-CIWA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process. The decision of Director will be final and binding in all respects.

4.No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5.No interim enquiries will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the position.
