Applications are invited for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project entitled Theoretical and Experimental Study of Wave Proopagation in Granular Metamaterials sponsored by SERB-Extra Mural Research.

Project title: Theoretical and Experimental Study of Wave Propagation in Granular Metamaterials Ref. No.: RES/SERB/ME/P0234/1819/0014 Number of post: 1 Name of posts: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Consolidated monthly pay: 25,000 (As per norms) Qualification and experience: B. Tech./B. E. in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Aerospace Engineering with a valid GATE score or M. Tech./M.E. in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Aerospace Engineering. Candidates should have a fair knowledge of using CAD modeling software and basic drawing interpretation skills. Candidate should have a good knowledge of Finite Element Analysis for application in continuum/solid mechanics and working knowledge of commercial FEA software like ABAQUS/Ansys and mathematical analysis tool like Matlab. Experience in conducting physical experiments will be preferable. Tenure: One year and is extendable based on the performance and progress
