Research Associate:

QUALIFICATION:Candidate should have PhD or equivalent degree in Physics related to the field of high energy nuclear theory (more specifically high energy heavy ion collisions and Quark-Gluon-Plasma). Those who have submitted their PhD thesis related to the above field are also eligible to apply.

FELLOWSHIP: -As per DST norms

AGE:35 years or less as on date of walk-in-interview, age relaxation to entitled categories as per DST rules.

The above position is purely temporary for a period of one year or completion of project whichever is earlier but strictly co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any NISER post.

Interested candidates should appear for awalk in interview / Skype interviewscheduled to be held on20.07.2017at about11.00 AMat NISER. They should submit their resume duly filled in all respect in the prescribed proforma (given in page 2-3 of this document) along with copies of all certificates at the time of interview with recent passport size photograph pasted on it. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview for verification. All candidates are requested to reach one hour before the scheduled time. Outstation candidates can attend the interview through skype video conferencing. They need to send their skype ID by email tovictor@niser.ac.inon or before 15.07.2017 along with scanned copies of relevant certificates and the proforma.
