Advertisement for Visiting Faculty

Ambedkar University, Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates for one visiting faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor for one semester from January 2019 to June 2019 for the BA and MA programmes in Urban Studies in the School of Global Affairs at the Karampura Campus.

Specialisation:

Expertise in urban environmental studies, including energy, climate change, urban political ecology, waste and sanitation.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale (wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

2. Ph.D. Degree from a University in India (recognized by the UGC) or from a university abroad

Desirable:

Field research and prior teaching experience.

Candidate will be expected to teach, evaluate, provide feedback to student assessments, and contribute to any other academic and administrative requirements of the Urban Studies programme at Ambedkar University Delhi.

Remuneration:

Rs. 65,000/- p.m. (without PhD) or Rs. 75,000/- p.m. (with PhD)
