Eligible candidates are invited for Walk in Interview on 30.01.2019 at 11:00 AM at ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora-263601 (Uttarakhand) for the purely temporary and time bound positions of Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow and Skilled Help/Lab/Field Assistant on contractual basis under the following project. The qualifications and other details are as under.

2.	ICAR funded Network Project on AMAAS entitled Developing PGPR consortia for enhanced micronutrient (iron and zinc) uptake and yield of finger millet	Senior Research Fellow	01	The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview.	Rs. 25,000/- per month+ HRA for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 28,000/- per month+ HRA for 3rd year	Till the termination of project.	The candidate must have passed Masters degree in Agricultural Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology (for candidates with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelors degree. OR Masters degree in Agricultural Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/	a) Knowledge and hands on work experience on isolation, characterization of microorganism and screening for PGP traits etc., b) Well acquainted with Molecular techniques	He/ She has to carry out laboratory, pot and field experiments/ studies.

4.	ICAR Seed Project (Revolving Fund)	Skilled help/Lab/ Field Assistant	01	The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview	Rs. 12,000/- Per month	Till 2020 but may be extended.	Graduation (in any subject) with Intermediate in Science	Experience in seed production of hill crops, store keeping and records maintenance;

5.	National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystems (NMHSE) Taskforce 6 for lower and middle Himalayan Agriculture.	Junior Research Fellow	01	The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview	Rs. 25000/p.m. + HRA for the initial 2 years and in 3rd year JRF will awarded as SRF @ Rs. 28000/+HRA after review of their performance by the review committee	Till the termination of project.	Post Graduate Degree (04 years bachelor degree/ candidate with 3 years Bachelors degree, should have NET qualified and two years master degree) in Soil and water conservation Engineering/ Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/ Water Resources Development/ Farm Machinery/ Environmental Science.	1. Work experience in conducting experiments on crop cultivation and evaluation/ Socio-economic survey, data compilation and analysis. 2. Net qualified candidates will be given preference.

Terms and Conditions:

Interested and eligible candidate fulfilling the above qualifications may appear in walk in interview on 30.01.2019 at 11:00 AM at ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora 263601(Uttarakhand). They are requested to fill the application form indicating all details, photograph for each project separately along self attested copies of certificates in support of age (Class 10^th Certificate), qualifications, experience.
No-objection certificate from the employer/University in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/ studying.
The candidates are necessarily required to produce all original certificates which will be returned to them.
The above position is on contractual basis, purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project
The place of work will be at ICAR-VPKAS, Almora/Hawalbagh (Uttarakhand) or the project site.
The selected candidate shall not claim any regular employment at this Institute, as the position is co-terminus with the project.
No T.A./D.A. will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
