Walk-in-interview

A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 14/07/2017 at 10.00 A.M in the Department of Cultural Studies for selection of 01 (one) Research Fellow on a temporary basis for the UGC sponsored project, Cultural memory in North-East India: A Research and Documentation Programme on Textual and Visual Narratives, under the scheme, Centre with Potential for Exellence in Particular Area (CPEPA) under the Chief Coordinator Professor Debarshi Prasad Nath, Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University.

Qualification: Candidate must possess Doctorate Degree (PhD) in any discipline of Humanities and Social Sciences with adequate experience in the area of Cultural Studies or Cultural Memory. The candidate must be willing to carry out field work across North East India. Adequate knowledge of computer is desirable.

Fellowship: 35,000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand) only per month.

Age limit: The age should be 40 years as on the date of interview, and 45 years in the case of female candidates. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Duration: Initially for a period of one (01) year which may be extended depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent till the completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any) and a copy of recent Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview.
