Walk-in-Interview

A walk-in-interview will be held at 11:00 AM on 27 July, 2017 (Thursday) at the office of the Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Tezpur University for selection of one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the RESPOND- ISRO project entitled Development of a Real-time ImageSuper-resolution System using Parallel Processing Hardware for Remote Sensing Applications under the Principal Investigator Dr. Bhabesh Deka, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam - 784028, Assam.

Essential Qualifications: First class or equivalent CGPA in M. Tech in ECE/ CSE/ IT or MCA

OR

First class or equivalent CGPA in BE/B. Tech. in ECE / CSE/ IT with valid GATE/NET score

Desirable Qualifications: Sound knowledge in the areas of Image Processing/ Computer Vision/Machine Learning and having working experience of C /C ++/parallel programming for image and video processing.

Fellowship:Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 1st and 2nd years (JRF), and Rs. 28,000/- (Rupees twenty eight thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year (SRF).

Duration: Three (03) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age Limit: The candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), certificates of GATE/NET, any other testimonials and a signed copy of recent curriculum vitae (CV) on the day of interview. They have to also send their CV to the Principal Investigator through e-mail bdeka@tezu.ernet.in only on or before 21July 2017.

N.B. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
