Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held at the campus of Indian Institute of Millets Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030 on 14/10/2016 at 10:30 AM for recruitment of One Senior Research Fellow under CRP-Biofortification and One Senior Research Fellow under the NASF project as per the details given below.

2	SRF (One)	NASF Project titled Expression of Resistance to Diapausing and Non-Diapausing populations of Spotted Stem Borer, Chilo partellus in sorghum & Maize: Implications for crop Improvement and IPM	Essential Qualifications: a) Master degree in Agricultural Entomology/Zoology/ Life sciences with at least two years of research work experience. Work experience in collection of stem borer larvae, insect rearing and rearing of laboratory insects and field surveys. b) Candidate should possess Ist division or 60 % marks since matriculation. NOTE:- Candidates having Three years Bachelor's degree and two years Master's degree should have NET qualification. Desirable Qualification: Experience in insect ecology, biochemistry. Nature of duties of SRF: The selected candidate shall be involved in extensive field work for sampling stem borer larvae, raising crop for field studies and biochemical analysis in lab. Terms & Conditions:

1. The above posts are purely temporary and on contractual basis till expiry of the project.

2. The candidates shall submit Applications at the time of interview in the performa enclosed along with a passport size photograph and a set of attested copies of requisite mark-sheet, certificates and supporting documents.

3. Candidates have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verifications.

4. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5. The decision of the Director, IIMR is final and binding in all respects.

6. The age limit of above position is up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women. The relaxation in upper age limit is permissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

7. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment / absorption in IIMR or funding agency at the end of the project.
