Walk-in-Interview for the post of

Project Engineer under Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO, Gov. of India

Potential candidates are invited for walk-in-interview on 27th July 2017 for the position of Project Engineer under AR&DB, DRDO sponsored project with the following details:

Title of Research Project: Imperfection sensitivity analysis of functionally graded structures featuring parameter uncertainties.

Investigator: Dr. Mohammad Talha (PI), Assistant Professor, School of Engineering, IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh

Position: Project Engineer

Salary: INR 25,000/- per month (consolidated)

Duration: One year with extension for second year based on the performance.

Essential Qualification: Candidate should have first class in M.E/ M. Tech. degree in Aerospace/Applied mechanics/Civil/ Mechanical/ Structural engineering or equivalent with exposure in finite element modelling, composite materials, smart structures, computational solid mechanics, etc.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years, relaxable for exceptional cases.

The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience.

The nature of the post is purely temporary, and does not entitle to any permanent post at IIT Mandi.

No TA/DA will be paid for any applicant.

Deserving Project Engineer can be considered for Ph.D. degree if he/she meets all the requirements of IIT Mandi PhD selection process as per the institute norms.

Should be able to join at the earliest, if selected.
