The Centre for Early Childhood Education and Development (CECED) is developed under a social initiative of Ambedkar University Delhi and is envisaged as an institution that brings together research, policy and practice in the area of Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) within a coherent and holistic conceptual frame. CECEDs vision is to promote systemic understanding of developmentally and contextually appropriate and inclusive ECED with a focus on early learning. The Centres mission is to contribute to the national goals of social justice and equity by advocating and promoting every childs right to a solid foundation for life through ECED. The Centre aims towards evidence-based quality promotion in ECED through research, capacity building and advocacy.
CECED is conducting a study titled Standardization of Assessment Tools supported by Centre Square Foundation. To undertake the data collection and data entry, CECED requires 4 Field Investigators for 2 months on immediate basis. The assignment requires travelling within Delhi only. In this regard, a Walk-in Interview is being organized from 11:00 AM to
2:00 PM on 15th March 2016.

TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR PROJECT POSITION IN CECED

Vacancy: One (4) currently for two months with the possibility of further extension.

Qualification & Eligibility criteria:
Essential: Graduation preferably in Education/ Social Sciences. Willing to undertake extensive field travel to collect feedback on assessment tools developed by CECED.
Computer proficiency to do data entry work.
Desirable:
Good communication skills and fluency in English and Hindi languages. Understanding and prior experince of research work, field survey tools and methodology will be an advantage
Duration: For 2 months Consolidated Remuneration: The consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 15000/-per month. Travel cost during the actual field work days will be reimbursed.
Please note that the above mentioned position require frequent travelling.
