DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT NOTIFICATION

Online applications are invited for the engagement of eligible candidates as Assistant Professor (contractual) in the following subjects for the academic session 2016.

i) Masters degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA.
ii) NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

i) Master degree in Dairy and Meat processing/LPT with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA.
ii) NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

Business Studies (IT)

i) MBA with specialization in IT with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA
ii) NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

International Relations

i) Masters degree in International Relations/ Political Science with 55% marks or equivalent GPA.
ii) NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree)
Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
20.

Islamic Studies

i) Masters degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA.
ii) NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
iii) Desirable: Efficiency in Arabic.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

1. Candidates are required to apply online through University website www.iustlive.com . No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
2. Hard copy of application form complete in all respects duly supported by attested copies of certificates and testimonials should reach office of the Registrar by or before 28th January, 2016. Applications received after the expiry of the due date will not be entertained.

- Availability of online application form : 16th January, 2016.
- Last date for submission of Online Application form : 27th January, 2016
- Last date for submission of Hard copy of Application form : 28th January, 2016
- Interview dates will be notified separately. Candidates are advised to be in touch with university web site www.iustlive.com

NOTE:

Candidates with Masters Degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA can also apply who shall be considered for engagement in case candidates with NET/SLET/SET will not be available in non-engineering subjects.
Candidates having First Class BE/B.Tech. degree in concerned Engineering branch can also apply who shall be considered for engagement in case candidates with M.E/M.Tech degree will not be available.
The Selected candidates shall have to submit an Affidavit to the affect that he/she will serve the University for full academic session ending December, 2016. However candidates who get a permanent job shall be allowed to leave the department during the active academic session.
Necessary instructions for filling up of the online applications, available on the university website, may be read carefully and followed properly by the candidates.
The engagement is meant for full academic session ending December 2016.
Salary
- Ph. D/NET/ SLET : Rs. 25,000/- per month
- Others : Rs. 20,000/- per month
