The Govt. of Uttarakhand has established VCSG Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (VCSG UUHF) by an Act of State Legislative Assembly [The Uttarakhand Krishi Evam Prodhyogik Vishwavidhyalaya (Amendment) Act, 2001 {Uttarakhand Act No. 13 of 2011}] dated 28th April, 2011 with Notification No. 732/XIII-II/2011-12 dated 26 September, 2011.
The University invites applications from eligible candidates on prescribed application format for filling-up the posts of Programme Coordinator (PC)/ Senior Scientist and Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) in Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs). Krishi Vigyan Kendra is a project fully funded by Indian Council Agricultural Research (ICAR). Following vacant posts are to be filled by direct recruitment in KVKs. The Application Format can be downloaded from Universitys website (www.uuhf.ac.in ) along with Score Card. Duly filled Application Form along with Score Card and recent passport size self-attested photograph, supporting documents (self-attested copies of degree certificates/ mark sheets/ experience certificates, reprints of publications, etc.) and Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Comptroller, Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry payable at Punjab National Bank, Branch Pauri (Branch Code 1370) should reach by speed/ registered post to the Registrar at following postal address:

Important Information for Applicants
- 1. The posts advertised are in KVK project funded by ICAR, and are co-terminus with the KVK project. Pension is not applicable for these posts.
- 2. The process of recruitment and appointment on the posts advertised shall be as prescribed under the Statutes and Service Rules of the University.
- 3. Application Fee as prescribed should be enclosed with the Application Form. Application Forms received without the prescribed Fee shall not be entertained. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.
- 4. Applications, if not on prescribed format or incomplete or received after due date will not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for postal delay, if any.
- 5. The candidates are required to download the Score Card along with the Application Form from University website, and fill the Score Card and submit the same along with the Application Form.
- 6. Self attested photocopy of supporting documents pertaining to age, educational qualifications, employment record, caste certificate (if applicable) etc should accompany the filled-in Application Form. Original certificates should be produced at the time of interview for verification.
- 7. In-service candidates should send their application through proper channel. However, advance copy along with Application Fee should reach at the following postal address by the closing date:-

- 8. The reservation policy of the Uttarakhand State Government shall be applicable.
- 9. Envelope containing application should be superscribed as Application for the post of (Name of Post) and (Name of the KVK i.e. Tehri Garhwal or Pauri Garhwal).
- 10. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it may not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates, the University, at its discretion, may screen the applications and shortlist the candidates on the basis of qualifications, experience, publications etc to be called for the interview. For this purpose, the University may constitute a screening committee to screen the applications to short list the candidates. For the post of SMS, the University may also hold written test, if required, to short list the candidates for interview.
- 11. The list of candidates screened out shall be placed on the website with the reason for being screened out. The screened out candidates may submit an appeal, if any, in this regard within 21 days from the date of placement of the list on University website. The appeal so made shall be referred to the Screening Committee for review, and the decision of the Committee shall be communicated to the appellant.
- 12. No T.A./ D.A. will be paid to the candidates called for interview/ written test.
- 13. The process of selection may include a presentation/ written test/ interview or a combination of all. A presentation of maximum 5 minutes duration related to concerned discipline for the farmers/ livestock owners may be required to be given. The written test, if given, will include subject related questions, and will be of maximum one hour duration. The written test shall not be given for the post of PC.
- 14. Canvassing in any form may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- 15. Qualifications/ experiences etc. shall be reckoned as on the closing date of submission of applications.
- 16. If at any time even after the selection and the appointment of the candidate or during the tenure of his/ her service, it is found/ detected that any document/ information submitted by the candidate is incorrect or that the candidate has concealed/ suppressed any information, then appropriate action shall be taken against him/ her as per rules which may even lead to termination of his/ her candidature/ services.
- 17. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the posts advertised without giving any reasons thereof.
- 18. The University shall not be responsible for postal delay, if any.
- 19. The area of jurisdiction for any legal dispute shall be District Court at Pauri and High Court of Uttarakhand
- 20. The candidates are advised to visit the University website i.e. www.uuhf.ac.in regularly for information related to recruitment of the posts advertised.
Note: Please note that the posts mentioned at Sl. No. 1 to 3 had been advertized earlier vide advertisement no. UUHF/KVK/03 of 2016 dated 23.12.2016. These posts are being re-advertised with some amendments. The applicants for the above mentioned posts who had applied earlier in response to advt. no. UUHF/KVK/03 of 2016 dated 23.12.2016 need not to apply and not to pay the prescribed fee again. However, they may send their updated application form in view of the terms and conditions as amended in this advertisement for eligibility and selection of candidates.
