A walk-in-interview will be held on 25th July, 2017, Tuesday, at 11.15 hrs for the recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a BRNS-funded research project entitled Studies on Heisenberg spin chains with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in the presence of fields (Sanction no: 37(3)/14/16/2015/BRNS, dated 27.7.2015) under the supervision of Dr. Asim Kumar Ghosh, Principal Investigator (PI) of the project.

Candidates with strong motivation toward theoretical research work are hereby called to attend the interview.

Venue: Seminar room of Physics Department, First Floor of PG Science Building, Jadavpur University, Kolkata 700032.

Date: 25th July, 2017, Tuesday. Time: 11.15-13.15 hrs.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 68% marks. Specialization in any theoretical physics branches is preferable.

Age: Not more than 28 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the rule).

Fellowship (per month): Rs 25,000.00 + HRA (30%) + Medical Allowance (As per the DAE Office Memorandum No. 10/1(21)/2014/Fellowship/R&D-II/3944)

Duration: Maximum two years.

Interested candidates may appear before the selection committee for an interview along with a duly filled up Application Form, Research to be obtained from Information Office of the University. One passport sized photograph, photocopies of mark-sheets and certificates along with originals are to be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
