Applications are invited for walk-in interview for the posts of ?Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & Junior Project Fellow for a research project entitled National Carbonaceous Aerosols Programme (NCAP): Working Group III - Emissions, sources apportionment and climate effects'' funded by Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India. The project is organized around a three-tier structure involving 17 institutions across India with BIT Mesra as a field institute.
1. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of posts: ?01
Nature and Duration: ? The post is purely temporary in nature, initially for 01 year and extendable upon satisfactory performance till the duration of project.
Consolidated Salary: ?Rs. 25,000 pm + HRA (as per institute rule)
Minimum qualifications: ?Post-graduate degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Civil / Environmental / Chemical Engineering, or (M.Sc. with NET qualification) in Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry or related disciplines from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable:
- GATE / NET
- The candidate should have knowledge of atmospheric science and be prepared to participate in field work.
- Position require excellent communication (oral and written) skills in English.

Junior Project Fellow - 01
(if candidate with Professional PG Degree or PG degree in Basic Science with NET qualification as mentioned above is not available)
