Application for the post of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB sponsored project entitled Development of Basic Natural Language Processing Tools and Resources for Maithili" at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.

Number of Posts: One.

Eligibility: M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and related disciplines OR B.E./B.Tech.inComputer Science or Information TechnologywithNET/GATE qualification.

Desirable: (1) Knowledge on Maithili Language and Grammar is required. Candidates having mother-tongue as Maithili will get preference.

(2) Candidates with valid GATE score or NET qualification will get preference.

(3) Experience in Natural Language Processing & Machine Learning is desirable.

Fellowship/Month: Rs25,000 forfirst 2years, thenRs28,000 in third year.

Tenure: Maximum 3 years (extendable annually till completion of the project, subjected to satisfactory performance).
