Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB sponsored project entitled MEMS based piezoelectric energy harvester for implanted medical devices" (Order no. ECR/2016/001279) at Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.

Job Description: Purely research in CMOS analog VLSI Design. The candidate is expected to register for PhD at BIT Mesra.
Eligibility: M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and related disciplines OR B.E./B.Tech.inElectronics and Communication Engineering withGATE qualification
Desirable: (1) Knowledge on analog circuit design / analog VLSI design.
(2) Knowledge of transistor level circuit simulation tool is desirable.
(3) Candidates with valid GATE score or NET qualification and/or have working experience on analog VLSI domain will get preference.
(4) Additional knowledge of MEMS based design and understanding Comsol and Coventorware will get preference.
Fellowship/month: Rs25,000 forfirst 2years, thenRs28,000 for one year
Tenure: 3 years (extendable annually till completion of the project, subjected to satisfactory performance).

- The appointment under this project is to be treated as temporary for three years subject to availability of the fund and will be governed by therules / conditions of the sanctioned project.
