Job Description

:

Day-to-day research activities related to the project, as for example, handling and culture of probiotics, preparation of chocolates, performing animal cell culture related assays like ELISA, immunocytochemistry, FACS analysis etc.

The student is expected to enroll in the PhD program of NIT Rourkela.

Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship

:

Rs. 25,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year

Rs. 28,000/- per month for 3rd year

Essential Qualifications and experience

:

1. B. Tech. (Biotechnology) with valid GATE score and >60%/ 6.5 CGPA

2. B. Tech. (Biomedical Engineering) with valid GATE score and >60%/ 6.5 CGPA

3. B. Pharm. with valid GATE/GPAT score and >70%/ 7.5 CGPA

(>60% in class X and XII (for all 1, 2 and 3); >60%/ 6.5 CGPA in 1 and 2; >70% or 7.5 CGPA in 3; Possession of valid GATE or GPAT score is not mandatory for M. Tech./ M. Pharm. students)

The candidates with the following additional desirable qualification may be given preference:

1. M. Tech. (Biotechnology) with >60%/ 6.5 CGPA
