Applications are invited on prescribed format for the temporary post of "Senior Research Fellow (SRF)'' for the topic entitled Design, Development and Control of Linear Rotary Electromagnetic Actuator under the IMPRINT Project (Project No. 6292, Design and Development of Dynamic Mechanical Analyser) jointly sanctioned by MHRD (Govt. of India) and SERB (DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India). Selected candidate may enroll in Ph.D. Programme in the Department Electrical Engineering based on institute. norms and regulations.

Job Description

:

SRFs are required for the design, analysis and control of the linear rotary electromagnetic actuator system

a. Analysis and control of power electronics system
b. Design and development of linear rotary actuator
c. Development of various sensors such as force, Temperature, displacement (linear and angular), and Humidity etc.

Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship

:

RS. 25,000/- per month (for First and Second Years) *

RS. 28,000/- per month (for Third Year) *

8.

Essential Qualifications and experience

:

M.Tech/ M.E. (after B.Tech/ B.E.) in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA at both B.E./ B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech levels.

Desirable Qualifications/Experiences

:

a. M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives, Control systems and Instrumentation
b. Strong knowledge/interest of Finite element analysis
c. Exposure in MATLAB and ANSYS
