ADVERTISEMENT for Research Assistantship under the TEQIP programme

Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistants (RA) under the TEQIP programme from all in-house (full-time) candidates who have registered / enrolled for Ph.D under WBUT / MAKAUT, WB or yet to enrol for Ph.D. under MAKAUT,WB, and are not receiving any financial assistance / fellowship from any source as on date. Such candidates are requested to report during office hours along with their application to the TEQIP Cell by Monday 28th March, 2016. All applications should be forwarded duly by the research supervisor and should have the following documents enclosed:

1) An Application letter addressed to the undersigned,

2) MAKAUT, WB (WBUT) Ph.D Registration certificate / Enrolment certificate (for registered/enrolled candidates),

3) Brief Bio-data,

4) NET/ GATE /SLET or any other related certificate,

5) Synopsis of the work duly forwarded by the research supervisor.

Such candidates will have to appear for an interactive session / interview on 30th March /31st March, 2016 at 12:00 noon (University premise) before the Selection Committee. Selected candidates will be intimated about the award of fellowship in due course. Please note that Award of the Fellowship (Research Assistantship) will strictly follow TEQIP norms and as per University rules. Candidates may please contact the TEQIP cell for any other information in this regard.

N.B: Selected candidates will have to work fulltime in the MAKAUT, WB premises. Additionally, they will have to give an undertaking promising to return the fellowship in full if he/she discontinues with the Ph.D. course.
