One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be recruited for a DAE-BRNS funded theoretical research project entitled Studies on Heisenberg spin chains with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in the presence of fields (Sanction no: 37(3)/14/16/2015/BRNS, dated 27.7.2015) under the supervision of Dr. Asim Kumar Ghosh, Dept. of Physics, Jadavpur University, Principal Investigator (PI) of the project.

Qualifications:

M.Sc. in Physics with 70% marks

Specialization in Theoretical Physics/Solid State Physics/

Condensed Matter Physics/ Statistical Physics are preferable.

Fellowship (per month): Rs 25,000.00 + HRA (30%) and Medical Allowance

Duration: Maximum Two years.
