Application are invited for the post of Junior Research fellow with a fellowship of consolidated amount of Rs. 25,000/- per month in a Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project entitled Integration of Geomechanics and Rock Physics Modeling of Reservoirs in Sedimentary Basin of Eastern India. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should be M.Sc. (Tech)/ Int. MSc (Tech)/M.Sc in Applied Geophysics/Geophysics/Exploration Geophysics with atleast 55% marks and NET/GATE qualification. The upper age limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years SC/ST/Physically Handicaped/Female candidates & OBC candidates for 3 years). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
