Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for one post of Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi sponsored research project entitled Evolution of Indian Subcontinental Lithospheric Mantle: Insights from kimberlites, related rocks and mafic dykes. The candidate with working knowledge on the EPMA equipment and its accessory units shall be preferred. Emoluments will be as per existing DST rules. The post is purely temporary and coterminus with the project. The candidate must be M.Sc. in Geology with at least 55% marks and passed NET/GATE examination. Upper age limit should not exceed 28 years. A relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. In the event of nonavailability of suitable NET/GATE qualified candidate, a Project Fellow may be appointed on lesser emoluments as per the existing rules.
